To celebrate the return of racing in South Africa, Thoroughbred South Africa News (TSA News) is excited to announce the opportunity to win a 5% Share in the lightly raced, winning filly Down To Earth, along with 12 months training fees (* conditions apply).
A winner of two of her five starts to date, the Gavin Van Zyl trained filly has proven the goods at her last two starts, winning impressively on the Greyville Polytrack, both over 1600m.
Ridden to her most recent success by Keagan de Melo, to score by over three lengths from the stakes performed Dancing Feather, the jockey had nothing but high praise for the Cheveley Stud bred daughter of Jackson.
“She could be anything, she settled off the pace and when I asked her she went last to first in a few strides without much fuss. Very good turn of foot,” enthused de Melo post race.
If you consider yourself a good judge of a race and can pick your share of winners, the competition looks at four feature race days totalling 18 Graded races, where you have the opportunity to select the winners.
Based on a point system, the highest ranking entrant post the 18 races will be gifted the free 5% share in Down To Earth, and race the filly as part of the Team G Racing Syndicate (* conditions apply).
